We had a fantastic stay at this clean and spacious cottage. the location is perfect, with the town centre, river, Abbey, and Asda all within walking distance. Despite being near a road, the cottage is quiet and the immediate surroundings are picturesque. the owners have clearly put a lot of care into maintaining the cottage, and we appreciated the little touches like the picnic hamper and the well-stocked kitchen. the beds were very comfortable, and everything in the cottage was in good working order. Parking was easy in the nearby public car park. we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Cons: Nothing - all was good! 👍.

While we were aware that there was no stairgate, we found the stairs a bit worrying for our young family. It would have been beneficial if the cottage had provided one, especially for families with children.

We were grateful for the DVDs left for us to watch, and the Peachtree restaurant across the road offered tasty food and great service. The bus stop is also conveniently located, with frequent services to town and the countryside.
